Embracing Your True Self
Each moment spent in awareness of just being is a gentle defiance against the world’s demands for more.
Welcome to this guided meditation where we will journey toward releasing the need for external validation. Allowing yourself to settle into a comfortable position.
Letting your eyes gently come to a close. Allowing yourself to simply be here without needing to do anything. Noticing your breath flowing in and flowing out naturally. Feeling your belly expand and contract with each breath.
Observing as your body lets go even just a little bit with each breath out. There is no need to control your breath in any way. Allowing your breath to be perfect just as it is, just as you are.
Noticing how your body rests on the surface beneath you. Feeling the full weight of your body being supported by the surface and ground beneath you. Knowing that it is okay to give yourself this moment, to simply be supported as you are.
As you notice, thoughts arising, making a note to yourself that this is a thought. Allowing yourself to come back to your body, resting in this very moment.
Allowing yourself to be present with yourself just as you are. Allowing your awareness to rest on your chest. Knowing that inside your chest, your heart is beating, keeping you alive and well.
Allowing yourself to see that your heart is enough just as you are in this moment. Knowing that your worth is inherent deep inside of you, you know how valuable you are. Allowing the sounds around you to come into your awareness.
Listening to the sounds just as they are. Perfect in their own nature. Observing how the sound pass through your awareness just like thoughts and feelings, yet you remain at peace in your body in this moment.
Gently allowing your awareness to come back into the room and the space around. Feeling how your body is resting while being fully supported.Allowing your mind to find peace.
As you continue your day, remembering that your value is inherent just like every breath that keeps you alive and well. As you feel ready, gently and slowly, allowing your eyes to open.
