Welcome to this guided meditation. Allowing yourself to settle into a comfortable position. Letting your eyes soft and gently come to a close. Noticing how your body rests on the surface beneath you.
There is nothing to do right now. Simply being here is enough. Observing how your breath flows in and flows out naturally. Acknowledging that there is no conscious effort to breathe in this moment.
Noticing when a thought captures your attention. Recognizing that this is a thought. Watching the thought dissolve as you recognize it. Bringing your awareness to your feet, resting on the surface.
Acknowledging that your feet do not need to hold you in this moment, Allowing your feet to rest in this moment of stillness. Bringing your awareness to your caps. Feeling your lower legs relax into this moment.
Observing how your knees feel. Is there any tension in your knees? Acknowledging when your mind wanders. Knowing that you are here in this moment, resting in stillness. Allowing your awareness to travel up to your upper legs.
Noticing if there is any holding. Allowing your legs to rest and settle. Fully supported by the surface beneath you. Bringing your awareness to your hips. How do your hips feel in this moment?
Acknowledging all that your hips do to support you throughout the day. Allowing your hips to rest knowing that they have done enough. Bringing your awareness to your belly. Feeling your belly expand and contract with each breath.
Noticing when thoughts capture your attention. Gently with kindness, allowing yourself to settle back into this moment of stillness. Noticing how your back rests against the surface.
Allowing you back to settle into stillness in this moment of rest. Noticing your shoulders and how they feel right now. Allowing your shoulders to settle down, knowing that this moment is here for you to just be as you are.
Bringing your awareness to your head. Noticing your jaw and allowing it to rest. Observing how this moment of stillness allows your mind to find peace. Gently allowing your awareness to come back into the room.
Noticing how your body continues to rest and your breath flows without effort. Acknowledging how it feels to come into stillness with your body and mind. As you feel ready, gently allowing your eyes to open.
